Certified Bookkeeper
Karen has over twenty years of experience in client accounting, compilations, and payroll services. She is the firm's Client Accounting Specialist and QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor.
She specializes in the implementation and ongoing use of QuickBooks and various other accounting software packages. Karen works with her clients to determine their accounting needs and implement a plan. She is readily available to her client's as a resource to resolve accounting or software issues. Additionally, Karen has extensive experience with preparation of federal and state payroll reports as well as state sales tax returns.
Karen graduated from the Massey College in 1979 with a Business Degree in Accounting. She obtained her Certified Bookkeepers Certification from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers in December 2000. Karen has been a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor since the 1999 version release. She keeps her QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification current as well as attending Sleeter Group yearly training on what's new with Quick Books. Her professional affiliations include the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Girl Scouts of South Texas.
